Class of 81,  Aguata High School Old Students Association (AHSAOSA), in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State has commended the pioneer Chairman of AHSAOSA Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Befford Anayo Onwuegbu (Ebube Enugu State) for picking the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to represent Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency of Enugu State in the Federal House of Representatives in the 2023 General Elections.

In a chat with The Creedblog, the Managing Director, Anycolor consumables limited, Dr. Godwin Ifeakor, said:  “This amazing accomplishment is just one step on your journey. To say that I’m happy for you is an understatement, your achievement here is nothing but inspiring. Congratulations on this amazing news” Ifeakor stated.

For Mr. Dave Chukwudulue: “ Chief  Anayo Befford Onwuegbu,  (Omeiheukwu), is no stranger to Enugu State politics and politicking. He’s been involved and part of the political system of the state for decades. Though some might say that he’s not always been cosy with the different governments of the day over the years, but there’s no denying the fact that he’s been involved in defining the political equations and shaping the political landscape of the State, and has added colour to the political process of each emerging government of each political dispensation.

“Whether as a key or fringe player in the political process of the State over the years, there’s no dismissing the political clout of Omeiheukwu in the political scenario of Enugu state. It’s therefore gratifying to see him emerge a mainstream career politician with his emergence as his Party’s flag bearer in the forthcoming elections to contest for the Federal House of Representatives for the Oji River/Awgu/Aninri Federal Constituency.

Chief Onwuegbu

“Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu will be going to the Federal House with a rich experience in Construction Engineering and Environmental Conservation spanning more than three decades. We have no doubt in our minds that the state and country will be better for his involvement” Dave Chukwudulue stated

Mr, Donatus Ifediba said: “Yes, we have all heard and congratulated him as well. Dr Bef Anayo Onwuegbu is not a strange man to us. He has been a man of high spirit and focus. He has a high social relationship which aimed him a name among us as “Bef Soo” and he is living up  to it. He is a knight, a Chief, an academic Dr, a contractor with a different standard, politician,  a philanthropist to the core. With all these, he is really a social being needed among the people, who will not let them down. He will perform if actually given the mandate.

All my prayer for  him is success. And the God who had made him scale this first huddle will see him through” Ifediba said.
